First Hull Trains is giving coronary heart attack victim Lee Popplewell a trip to the beginning lane of his first marathon.

After hearing Lee’s story, Will Dunnett, managing director at first Hull Trains, provided him free shuttle to and from the capital.

“Lee is working for a super result in and First Hull Trains is delighted to be able to help him achieve his goal by making his journeys to and from London as comfortable as possible,” he said.

“I want Lee the entire very best on the day.”

In 2015, Lee, 38, weighed greater than 18st, despite being simplest 5ft 7in, and vowed to show his life round.
